Hello,
I would like to find out if it is feasible to have the possibility to create a grid based on an sql statement? That would really be handy, as I need to display information which is in more than one table.

Hi,
In admin section not entirely, just part in WHERE section. It is supposed to be as much as possible user friendly also to those who don't know anything about SQL.
But if you create SQL view in e.g. phpMyAdmin for Mysql, or Oracle or MS-SQL tools, you can display SQL view with TableJX. This means that you can present any data, almost whatever you can do with SQL. With this ability are possibilities almost endless.
Best regards,
Viljem
