Subject: Issue with Changing Column Captions - by: allen

I made the change and it no longer removes the data, however, the captions data is not changed. It is still using the columnNames to display the captions... so I am sure there is at least one more change that needs to take place, if not more than one...

Please let me know the location/values of the other changes and I will make the changes while I wait on an updated file.

Thanks again.

Appreciate the help, Tomaž.

Hi,

I'm no sure that I understood you exactly. But, there is an option to display data according to the user if this is what you need. For taking advantage of this option, you have to have a column in your table that consists of user IDs. Than go to the backend, scroll down to the advanced section and simply write WHERE mycolumn_of_user_ids = @user_id.

I hope this was helpful.

Tomaž

This component is at this point not so robust against bad column names in the database. Try renaming columns 1 and 2 to nr1 and nr2 or something similar. This should work.

This shouldn't be such a hard work. In fact, we might implement it sooner or later. But the best way to implement it is exactly in the way that column width is implemented. Any detailed explanation would be too extensive.

Hi,

you have to add another table to an article and than link the field to the article. Thi is the simplest way to do it right now.
